I am working on simulating a hybrid rocket engine but I cannot run 2000 step reaction kinetics on my computer yet.
Is it possible to reduce the complexity of the kinetics and just focus on the most important species to roughly predict the behavior in a combustion chamber.
More like max 200 reactions instead of 600 or 2000+. Can the software provide a new kinetics data if some species are removed from the global mechanism?
